There was a large contingent of big kite fliers at our end of the lake, including: David and Susan Gomberg, Andy Schmeelke and Sven Weidhase from Team No Limit, Larry Day, Bob Rymaszewski, Greg Rasberry, Toby Schlick and myself.
At the narrow end of the field, David, Susan and I flew one of the new fish and my old Trilobite.
David and Susan Gomberg worked hard, repeatedly relaunching the big fish into the turbulant winds. This was complicated for all of us as the kites got wetter and wetter each time they crashed.
The only problem is that over the years, I have come to know that grin on David's face. I still don't know what he was up to.
It got warmer and warmer all Saturday. Note the reflections in the WATER on top of the ice.
On Sunday, there was too much water on the ice to get the big kites in the air. We all spent the day trying to get our kites dry.
It was good to see Arnold back in town, but I have to question his wardrobe after some time on the west coast.
